
Laura Sue Phillips has exhibited her work nationally and internationally since 1993, most notably one-person exhibitions at el Museo de Arte de Caguas in Puerto Rico, and at StandPipe Gallery and Eich Space in New York. Awards include an AIM residency at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and an international printmaking residency at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute on the island of Mauritius. Phillips currently teaches studio art to undergraduates at Hunter College, and to young women in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her exhibitions have been reviewed in Artforum and the New York Times. Her work is included in the collections of the Edward Albee Foundation and el Museo de Arte de Caguas. She lives and paints in Brooklyn and the Catskills.
